This entry takes place in the demonic realm Hinomoto, which is based on feudal Japan, but with one major difference - unlike real feudal Japan, the days of noble warriors are numbered. With the bushido code on its way out, the Hinomoto Code of Destruction is now in!
All kinds of demons call Hinomoto their home, each with their own beliefs. Enter bushido fan-girl Pirilika, a naive, rich young lady who manages to convince the lazy warrior Fuji to protect her as she pursues her ambitions. But there’s more to their contract than meets the eye, and Fuji should’ve checked the fine print!

Like previous Disgaea games, Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless is a strategy RPG that rewards strategic thinking and careful planning. Players command a diverse cast of characters, each with their own unique abilities and skills, and the battle system remains as robust as ever, with a myriad of tactical options to consider. From stacking enemies to unleashing all-new devastating Jumbofication attacks, the possibilities are endless!
And, with a roster of over 40 character classes, including four brand-new additions, there is sure to be a favorite character class for everyone! Each class has its own specialties, such as the newly-added Maiko, who is extra effective against male enemies. But why stop at your favorite when you can create them all? Or build an army comprised solely of Maiko if that’s what floats your boat. No one’s stopping you, dood!
Plus, the Item World once again makes its grand return, which allows you to explore randomly generated dungeons within items themselves, further expanding the opportunities to spec things out to your heart’s content. Once your characters are powered up to the max, take them online to pit them against other players in online ranked battles, a first for Disgaea series!
